Hands-On Media Training for the Next Generation
LiT Podcast Academy LLC a division of LiT Podcast Studios is a hands-on media training academy created to prepare the next generation of podcast creators, producers, technicians, and digital media professionals.
Founded by Derrick and Mitzi Davis, the Academy brings together two powerful backgrounds: Derrick's more than 35+ years of professional experience in broadcast engineering, audio/video technology, television, and media production, and Mitzi's more than 30 years of experience as an educator.
Together, they created LiT Podcast Academy around a simple belief: the best way to learn media production is by doing it.

Students train inside a working podcast and media production environment where they can apply what they learn through practical labs, production exercises, team assignments, and real-world projects.
Instead of simply learning what equipment does, students learn how to operate it, troubleshoot it, and use it to produce professional content.
By the completion of the program, students will have participated in the production process from pre-production through recording, live production, editing, publishing, and final delivery.
